Searching within
I am intrigued by how cultures evolve and how human beings socialize. But beyond the intricate complexity of the human attributes and ethics come the deeper need to search within and find answers to the unseasoned questions of with whom, and how to associate. I must confess that I am confounded by what true friendship means and that oftentimes such words never even exist in the first instance. Someone you trust might be the backstabber and even the ones you don’t can be the angelic saviour. I am equally inundated by the fear that we create out of the known and the unknown. It is worth stating that taking a risk in decision making should not be a gateway to a line of best fit that meets the exact desire but it should rather be a step worth taking with which the probable outcome should be taken with equanimity. I see no reason why taking risks with several failed outcomes should deter anyone from more risk-taking — this bothers particularly on human relationship wherein one would say “never “ or would say “this one might just be like the same old one” and “hence the very reason why it would never work”.
To search within must encompass our seeing things from not just who we are or perceive ourselves to be based on a nurtured egocentricity but who we want others to perceive us without making any conjecture; unequivocally, looking at things from others viewpoint rather than being myopic and making extreme judgments of people we relate with.
Also, a world of human beings disposed to generosity, humility, and kindness equates to a status quo of wellness in society. The word “Generous” can be described as the quality of possessing the readiness in giving while “Kind” is the quality of showing affection and courtesy. In fact, the word “Humble” if differentiated would be
H — to be Honest.
U — to Understand the environment we find ourselves in and the ones we are likely to relate with.
M — to be Motivated in any situation we find ourselves;
B — to Believe in God.
L — to Lean not on our singular understanding of the world we live in.
E — to Envisage or be Expectant as always.
In conclusion, mutual trust on both sides of human interactions develops confidence for greater peace and security as I stipulate that “Trust like a world-class bridge must be meticulously and painstakingly built from one point of extremity to another with respect to time. Trust will surely fail when built with substandard materials that won’t stand the test of time.”. How we combine these variables will determine the effectiveness of our global search-within algorithm in finding the near-perfect answers to our unseasoned questions.
